Zach Bryan had a memorable experience at Buckeye Country Superfest in Columbus, Ohio over the weekend. And it wasn’t just because of the music. Bryan joined Charles Wesley Godwin during his Saturday set for a stunning duet on the Summertime Blues standout, “Jamie.” And during Bryan’s own headlining set later that night, he brought out Billy Strings for a rousing rendition of “Revival” that emphatically closed down his show.
But it was a more lighthearted moment earlier in the set that people will remember most. While Bryan was playing his tender ballad, “Something in the Orange,” the country star stopped the song when he felt a spider crawling across his shoulder. “There was a spider on me, I’m really sorry,” Bryan said while laughing about the incident as he restarted the emotional song. “So, so sorry. It was climbing toward my neck so I had to get it, or I wouldn’t have done it, I promise.” (Holler)
