Toby Keith recently revealed how he has managed to nab so many No. 1 singles.
The country icon told Taste of Country Nights, “The system got so easy for me, I was getting so much airplay, I had figured out who I was and what I did.”
He continued, “I’d write an album and I would tell the promotions staff, ‘Here’s your four singles, go work ‘em.”
The hits he wrote himself will be featured on 100% Songwriter, set to drop next month.
