Taylor Swift’s ‘TTPD’ Has Spent Two Straight Months At No. 1


Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department is the number one album in the country for the eighth consecutive week. Swift has reached No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 14 of her albums throughout her career, with The Tortured Poets Department now tying Folklore for her third most weeks topping the charts at 8, trailing only 1989 and Fearless, which both spent 11 total weeks at No. 1. Elsewhere on the Billboard 200, Charli XCX notches her highest-charting album ever, as Brat debuts at No. 3; Bon Jovi’s Forever reaches No. 5 in its first week of release; and Chappell Roan cracks the top 10 for the very first time with The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess reaching No. 10. Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft moves up to No. 2, while Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at a Time stays at No. 4 to round out the Top 5. (Billboard)
