Taylor Swift’s The Tortured Poets Department remains at No.1 on the Billboard 200 chart for the 12th consecutive week. TTPD has now overtaken 1989 and Fearless (each with 11 weeks at No. 1) as Swift’s album with the most weeks spent on the top of the charts. TTPD debuted at No.1 on May 4 and has stayed there ever since, surpassing Whitney Houston’s Whitney by becoming the only album by a woman to spend its first 12 weeks at No. 1. Elsewhere in the Billboard 200 Top 5, Zach Bryan’s The Great American Bar Scene jumps up fifteen places to No. 2 in its second week of release, but its first full tracking week on the charts after coming out on Thursday, July 4. Morgan Wallen’s One Thing at a Time drops to No. 3, Billie Eilish’s Hit Me Hard and Soft stays at No. 4, and Chappell Roan’s The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess remains at No. 5. (Billboard)
