George Straight recorded the song “You Know Me Better Than That” in the middle of August back in 1990. He then included the song when his album Chill of an Early Fall released in the fall of 1991. The track ended up reaching the top of the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart and also rose to the top of the Canadian country music top singles. The song describes the comfort of his old love knowing all his ugly secrets and deepest insecurities while his new relationship only sings his praises because she doesn’t know his dark side.
