During Netflix’s Star Search reboot premiere on Wednesday (January 21), Jelly Roll openly discussed his dramatic weight transformation. The country star, who serves as a judge on the new reality competition show, lost nearly 300 pounds over the past three years, dropping from over 500 pounds. “I feel incredible, dude,” Jelly said, noting that his wife Bunnie XO “put me on her Instagram allegedly as her hall pass. I said, ‘Hey, alright.’ The new hall pass, dude. This is big.” Bunnie posted a video she captioned, “Ummmm I just saw my new hall pass on TV,” while adding, “Don’t tell my husband.” The “Save Me” singer explained his transformation’s impact: “Every way… Spiritually, I’ve gotten closer to God. I’ve gotten closer to myself. I’m a better father.
