Morgan Wallen’s Foundation Gives Back To Jefferson City Youth Baseball

SHARE NOW

Morgan Wallen will always treasure his time playing baseball in East Tennessee. And the country star’s foundation just ensured that a new generation of little leaguers will get to play baseball at the same fields he did. The Morgan Wallen Foundation donated $100,000 to revitalize two baseball fields in Jefferson City, Tennessee. One of those fields, Jefferson City’s Roy Harmon Field, Wallen played on himself when he was a talented young baseball player. The funds will cover comprehensive upgrades to the two baseball fields, including adding new infields, bases, dugouts, press boxes, backstop padding, and fencing.

“Local little league is a pillar of the community—it creates a foundation for families to come together and enjoy an American pastime while teaching our youth skills that go beyond baseball,” said Robbie Britt, President of the Jefferson City Little League. “We’d like to thank the Morgan Wallen Foundation for all of their support.” (All Country News)
