700 W Hall of Fame Ave, Stillwater, OK 74075
SOLD OUT!
Overwhelming demand for The Boys from Oklahoma concert headlined by Cross Canadian Ragweed and Turnpike Troubadours has led to the addition of a second show, it was announced today.
Originally scheduled as a one-night-only performance inside Boone Pickens Stadium on Saturday, April 12, the second show will take place on Friday, April 11.
In the first 24 hours that fans could sign up to be part of the original presale, more than 104,000 applications were submitted. Fans who previously signed up for a presale code do not need resubmit for the additional show.
In addition to Cross Canadian Ragweed and the Turnpike Troubadours, Saturday’s show includes fellow Red Dirt music standouts Stoney LaRue, Jason Boland and the Stragglers and The Great Divide. The lineup sees one change on Friday, with The Great Divide replaced by the Mike McClure Band.
It is the first concert in the on-campus home of Oklahoma State football since the venue’s grand opening in 2009. The show benefits OSU’s Name, Image and Likeness efforts.
One of the most influential indie country rock bands of the late 1990s and early 2000s, Stillwater-based Cross Canadian Ragweed disbanded in 2010. This show marks the band’s much-anticipated reunion. The Tahlequah, Oklahoma, based Turnpike Troubadours have resided at the very forefront of the Red Dirt music scene since their 2005 debut and have earned a spot in the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame.
