Chris Stapleton Postpones Syracuse Show Due To ‘Ongoing Air Conditions’

Chris Stapleton postponed his concert scheduled for last night (Thursday, June 8th) at the St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview in Syracuse, New York due to local air conditions. The news was shared on Chris' social media accounts on Wednesday (June 7th) with a message reading, “Due to the ongoing air conditions in the greater Syracuse area, tomorrow night’s show at St. Joseph’s Health Amphitheater at Lakeview will be rescheduled to a later date. All previously purchased tickets for the original date will be honored for the new date. We expect to have an update by mid-day Friday, June 9th.”

Country Now reports that according to CNN.com, approximately 75 million people across the country are under air quality alerts due to wildfire smoke making its way from Canada.

The governor of New York, Kathy Hochul, advised locals to “simply stay indoors,” adding that being outside “is dangerous in just about every part of our state.”
