Chase Rice is launching another of his “Welcome to The Farm” entertainment venues, this time in the River North neighborhood of Chicago. The multi-platinum country singer is again partnering with Forward Hospitality Group and athletes with ties to the area, like former Chicago Bulls star Jimmy Butler and former Chicago Bears All-Pro Roquan Smith. Rice’s new spot is on schedule for an August opening in Chicago, which will be the third version of his popular bar/restaurant/live entertainment venues. The 10,000-square-foot Chicago space will offer live music, drinks, and BBQ led by Executive Chef Raheem Sealy, whose Drinking Pig BBQ will be featured on the menu.
“It’s been incredible to see the Welcome to The Farm response so far,” said Rice. “I’m so excited to keep growing this project together with the great team at Forward Hospitality Group. Chicago has always been one of my favorite places to visit and perform, and summer music festival season seemed like the perfect time to bring Welcome to The Farm to the city.” (All Country News)
