WALKER HAYES DROPS 'STRAIT TWO STEPPING': Walker Hayes announced Friday (July 28th) his new partnership with Monument Records and RCA Records. In celebration, Hayes releases his new 2-track bundle Strait Two Stepping featuring “Stetson” and “Show Me The Country.” This summer, Hayes has been on his headlining arena tour, The Duck Buck Tour, stopping in Oklahoma City, Jacksonville, Nashville, Raleigh and more through October.

MEGAN MORONEY RELEASES ACOUSTIC VERSION OF 'I'M NOT PRETTY': Megan Moroney released an acoustic version of her wildly popular track, “I’m Not Pretty,” on Friday (July 28th). She said in a statement, “As a songwriter, I’ve always loved the stripped-back version of songs. I feel like people are more likely to pay attention to the lyrics and I think it’s a pretty funny story. I’m excited to have this one out.” The original version was released earlier this year as a part of her debut album, Lucky.

GARTH BROOKS BUILDS POLICE STATION NEXT TO HIS BAR: Garth Brooks is building a police station next to his Friends In Low Places bar in Nashville, TN. Per the Tennessean, Brooks bought the property at 411 Broadway for $48 million in December 2021. Photos posted by the Metro Nashville Police department posted Wednesday (July 26th) show that the singer is planning to convert the property into a police substation adjacent to his restaurant.
