Christian music artist Brandon Lake recently hosted a series of writing sessions with over 25 country music stars and songwriters, producing more than 43 songs in five days. The collaborative group included Lainey Wilson, Thomas Rhett, HARDY, Russell Dickerson, Dan + Shay, and Bailey Zimmerman, along with faith-based musicians. Lake shared video footage from the sessions on Instagram, captioning the post: “God put a dream in my heart to start loving on and encouraging those leading in the country music space, and shortly after He just started flinging wide the doors.” He added, “IDK what this next chapter looks like BUT I know it’s gonna be special cause it was birthed from genuine love and friendship.” Lake previously earned his first CMA Award nomination for “Hard Fought Hallelujah” with Jelly Roll and recently collaborated with Cody Johnson on “When a Cowboy Prays.” His 2025 album, King of Hearts, is nominated for Best Contemporary Christian Music Album at the upcoming Grammy Awards.
