For Big Valley Jamboree's 20th anniversary they're going big with Small Town Saturday Night. One Alberta town with fewer than 20,000 people will be chosen to host its own event while earning money for local charities.
The Bonnyville and District Chamber of Commerce has decided to take part in this great contest. They will submit a two minute video showcasing the town of Bonnyville for a chance to host a mini-Big Valley event with headliners Dean Brody and Aaron Lines on April 28.
In addition to the main entertainment, Aaron Lines is hosting a songwriter’s circle that will include Samantha King, Duane Steele, Tim Hus and Shane Chisholm.
A panel of judges will narrow the selections down to five where the winner will be decided by a vote from the public. The winning town also gets a cash prize of $5,000.
